Bespoke · Made-to-order in the studio

A small vessel, worn on the hand.

The Hera Keepsake Ring is a made-to-order piece — a reliquary in ring form. Inside its setting, we hold what you send us: ashes, hair, dried breast milk, a fragment of a stone that once belonged to someone loved. Each ring is built slowly, in conversation with you, around the person you're carrying.

Every Hera Ring is different, because every story is.

What it can carry

Each setting can hold:

— Ashes (a small amount is enough)
— Hair
— Dried breast milk
— A fragment of a broken or inherited stone
— A combination of any of the above

Your keepsake can be set on its own, or mixed with a chosen gemstone — a birthstone, a favourite colour, a stone that reminds you of someone. Peridot, blue topaz, opal, sapphire, aquamarine, garnet, moonstone — we'll help you choose the stone that feels right.

One keepsake, or more than one

The Hera Ring can be made with a single setting, or with two or three sitting side by side — a way to carry more than one person on the same hand. A mother and a sister. Both parents. Three children. Grief is rarely for one person, and this ring format acknowledges that.

Each keepsake gets its own small stone, its own colour, its own place on the band. Together, they sit close.

The band is yours to shape

Because every Hera Ring is bespoke, the band itself is part of the conversation. We'll talk you through:

— Weight: slim and delicate, or heavier and more architectural
— Finish: high polish, brushed, or hand-hammered
— Profile: round, D-shape, or flat
— Metal: recycled 9k, 10k, or 18k yellow gold — or recycled sterling silver
— Setting style: hidden and quiet, or raised and prominent
— Size: any Australian or international ring size

Some Hera Rings are almost invisible from a distance — a small quiet thing you notice only if you look closely. Others are worn as statements. Both are right. It's yours to decide.

This piece is handcrafted in malleable wire and to ensure longevity, extra care is recommended when being worn. Significant pressure can cause the post to bend out of shape or break.

A note on the tradition

Keepsake jewellery has ancient roots. In the Byzantine tradition, small relics — a fragment of bone, a piece of cloth, a strand of hair — were held in personal amulets worn every day, close to the body. The wearer carried the presence of someone loved with them, always.

The Hera Ring belongs to that same tradition: a small vessel for something that matters, made to be carried on the body, kept close.
