A pendant set with an Australian parti sapphire — a stone Australia produces better than almost anywhere else on earth. Parti sapphires hold more than one colour at once: in Malka, deep green pools into hints of warmer tones, shifting as the light shifts.
Hand-cut into a shield shape and set in recycled 9k yellow gold, with three small freshwater pearls suspended below — soft movement against a stone that holds still.

A note on the stone: Parti sapphires are among the world's most distinctive — and most are mined in Australia, in the New England sapphire fields of New South Wales. Each stone holds multiple colours within a single crystal; no two are ever identical. The stone in Malka was chosen for its depth and green-leaning tones.
