Adelpha Pleiades Ring — Sacred Portals Collection
A slender band marked with seven small symbols — the seven sisters of the Pleiades, as held in Māori cosmology. Made in recycled sterling silver or recycled 9k yellow gold.
In Māori tradition, the Pleiades is called Matariki — a cluster whose return each winter marks the new year. The seven sisters carry the energy of darkness and fertility, of the feminine and of beginnings. Adelpha — itself a sister name — wraps that constellation onto the finger.

A note on the constellation:
The Pleiades — the Seven Sisters — is one of the most widely mythologised star clusters in human history. Māori, Aboriginal Australian, Greek, Native American, and countless other traditions tell their own stories of the seven women among the stars. Most modern eyes see six clearly; many ancient peoples saw seven.
About the collaboration:
Adelpha was made with Marcia Bello of the Emana Institute, drawing on the Māori star traditions she carries in her teachings. Sacred Portals is the collection that holds these collaborations — pieces born from teachers, traditions, and places that have shaped the studio.
