A ring that holds a fingerprint — yours, or someone you love. Pressed into wax, cast into recycled metal, and worn on the hand like a touch made permanent.
The Pritha is made to remember a touch. A child's first print. A grandparent's last. A partner's hand against yours. Each ring is hand-carved with organic edges, finished in recycled sterling silver or recycled 9k yellow gold.
Made once, from a print only you could give. Never repeated.
How to order:
1. Choose your metal — recycled sterling silver or recycled 9k yellow gold.
2. Choose your finish — high polish or brushed.

4. Optional — add a gemstone of your choice. Email us with your order number for stone options and pricing.
Prices start from $400 in Recycled Sterling Silver, From $900 in Recycled 9 Karat Yellow Gold.
Final price depends on band design, number of keepsake settings, and gemstone selection.
Once your order is placed, we'll post you a small impression kit with everything you need to take the print at home. When it comes back to the studio, we begin.

After placing your order, we'll be in touch with instructions for taking and posting your print safely to the studio. Each print is hand-carved into the ring by Paola.

Each Pritha is hand-carved with organic edges, so the ring you receive will vary slightly from the photographs. The pieces shown are bespoke past orders — yours will be uniquely your own.

Care Guide
This piece is handcrafted in malleable wire and to ensure longevity, extra care is recommended when being worn. Significant pressure can cause the post to bend out of shape or break.
A note on the tradition
Fingerprint jewellery belongs to an old lineage of relic-work — small vessels made to carry a trace of someone loved. In the Byzantine tradition, personal amulets held fragments of hair, cloth, or bone, worn close to the body as a way of keeping presence portable. The impression of a hand, a thumb, a finger was one of the most intimate of these — the mark of a specific person, unrepeatable.
The Pritha continues that tradition. A modern reliquary in ring form, holding the most personal trace of all.
How to get your fingerprint impression:
1. In a small bowl with warm water, add the wax provided and leave for a few seconds to a minute.
2. When wax is soft enough, use your fingers to mould the wax into desired shape.
3. On a flat surface, gently press your index finger onto the mould to create the impression.
If not happy, start over from step 1.
3. If happy with the result, place inside container and send it back safely in the prepaid label to us.
